This was the thing i always want

A great simple cost split app. This has all the features I want and none that I dont. I dont want my cost split app to require registration, integrate with social networking, require my friends to sign up, etc.. What I do want is a simple way to make a list of people, record expenses, and export a summary of what was purchased and who needs to pay what. Ive used PLENTY of cost split apps and this is by far the best one out there.

Great app that is simple to use and has the necessary features such as supporting multiple currencies.

This is absolutely perfect. It allows you to share and sync between phones. It allows you to add costs which are split amongst a group, or which are split amongst only part of a group, or which are split amongst a group but weighted differently (e.g. if one entry in a group is a couple and another entry in a group is a single person, apply twice the expense to the couple). Lays out who should pay whom in a clear and straightforward manner. No nonsense, perfect features, highly recommended!

Im very glad I stumbled across this app. I was getting very annoyed at how all the other apps I tried required you to sign up for an account or connect your Facebook to it. This doesnt require any of that BS. Thanks for the great app!

Comparing to many other similar apps, this is just about average or below. Hidden cost is aggressive. First you need to pay to be able to enter more than 3 expenses, then you need to pay to generate reports. Very annoying.

Easy to use and provides clear display of expenses per person in the group

I have been using a spreadsheet for many years that I have recently used on my iPhone/iPad by importing into QuickOffice and Numbers. Until I came across Cost Split, other apps just did not have the features of my spreadsheet. E.g currency, uneven splits etc. About the only feature that I see is already top of the list for improvement is multiple payers which is really useful when many people chip in for a dinner. So all round , a great app - thanks!

This is perfect for trips with friends where different people pay for different items. We use for fishing trips where each person buys different provisions, fuel, hotel etc....I hope lots of people use and support this app

A group of eight of us used this to keep track of who owed who what for a European trip - it was perfect. We used three different currencies, and the ability to have different weights for who received something was a huge plus - some of us qualified for senior discounts, for instance, when one person bought the train tickets. Or at a meal someone just had a cup of coffee and the rest had full meals. The ability to record simple transfers is also great - I gave 100 Kroner to someone to cover something - that goes in too. And finally the vast simplification of settling up is a huge help - it figures out the simplest exchange of money to make it all fair. Well worth the in-app purchase - cheaper than a coffee!

We like to keep track of expenses, who paid/who owes. This app makes it simple to do so on-the-go. Every feature is helpful and works flawlessly. We can even keep note of personal expenses (souvenirs) by entering the data and just marking it as that person paid for only themselves. You can easily export to email if desired. Also serves as a pleasant memento/trip diary if you choose to be more specific with expense description. You can even change the weight of how much a person pays. Highly recommended!! Thank you!!

Please add possibility to split payment between more persons (now theres only cost split). Otherwise super app.

Just finished a fishing weekend with a group of guys and they asked me to figure out who owes what. This app saved me all the pain of doing the math on a napkin. I use a lot of apps and software and from my perspective, this is one of the best apps Ive ever used. I love the ability to email the breakdown to everyone, so nobody can second guess the math - its laid out perfectly!

This app is absolutely perfect for my needs. I got this because I was needing a program that allows me to account for costs incurred during a trip with friends. It works without requiring creating an online account, and does not require my friends to accept an invitation to join in order to view a payback report. Intuitive, slick, and well thought out. Will work with many currencies and makes payback after a trip a breeze! This will be a staple... Thanks!

Very functional app… I was surprised that it did things like currency conversion. Definitely worth supporting the developer on this one! Try it!
